Asan Sampit Based On Iot https://jurnal.poltekbangmakassar.ac.id/index.php/airtech/article/view/407 <p>This study aims to find out: 1) Design a device that can be used to control Air Conditioner <br>by On/Off remotely., 2) Can make it easier for technicians at H. Asan Sampit Airport to send and receive <br>data from one device to another device that is separated by a certain distance, 3) Technicians can find out <br>more easily the voltage conditions that enter the outdoor Air Conditioner, 4) Make it easier for technicians <br>at H. Asan Sampit Airport to monitor the condition of Air Conditioner refrigerant pressure. Data were <br>collected from direct observational observations on air conditioners, literature studies and interviews with <br>passengers, Avsec officers and airport technicians. Findings: 1) This tool uses the PZEM-004T sensor as <br>a current and voltage detector, DHT 22 sensor as a temperature sensor in the room, then controls On/Off <br>using a relay and uses a power supply to supply several components, 2) Control and monitoring is carried <br>out through the Internet of Things application (IoT) is thinger.io. The results of the sensor readings are <br>sent to the thinger.io application from the ESP8266 MCU node via the internet/wi-fi network, 3) To find <br>out whether or not there is voltage entering the compressor by monitoring the voltage readings from the <br>PZEM-004T sensor sent to the thinger.io application, 4) Likewise, the current readings from the PZEM004T sensor are sent to the thinger.io application to find out what the pressure is refrigrant in Air <br>Conditioner. Physical condition checks and control installations on the Air Handling Unit (AHU) were carried out. It was found that the AHU condition was off due to a power outage from PLN. At this time, the control system contained in the York AHU control panel does not have a system that can restart the AHU system if the power supply is cut off and reconnected. The AHU is also equipped with a control and monoitoring system that allows users to adjust the operation of the AHU according to needs. The design method used is the waterfall method. The testing technique uses the black box method to test the functionality of hardware and software and ensure that the equipment can operate properly. Data were gathered through interviews with airport electricians, literature reviews, and direct observation of floodlights. An in-depth understanding of occurrences or events in a scientific setting is the main focus of the qualitative research approach utilized in this study. For the purpose of gathering data, researchers used methods like participant observation, document analysis, and interviews. The research method used is the waterfall research method. This research method is known as the software development method. This method is carried out with a systematic approach, starting from the system requirements stage and then moving on to the analysis, design, coding, testing/verification, and maintenance stages. The Waterfall method is a research method in which the stages must be completed one by one and run sequentially. The conclusions from this study are: (1) This design will save electricity costs at Tampa Padang Mamuju Airport, (2) This design is useful for controlling Floor Standing Air Conditioners remotely and can monitor Floor Standing Air Conditioners (AC) in real time, (3) This microcontroller-based design will make it easier for airport mechanical technicians when electrical disturbances occur.</p> Clawdya Roreng Copyright (c) 2024 AIRTECH : Journal of Airport Technology https://jurnal.poltekbangmakassar.ac.id/index.php/airtech/article/view/379 Mon, 05 Jun 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Analysis of The Needs of Passenger Terminal Area With the Level Of User Comfort at Komodo Labuan Bajo Airport https://jurnal.poltekbangmakassar.ac.id/index.php/airtech/article/view/384 <p>The objectives of this study are: 1) to find out what factors affect airport development, 2) to determine the prediction of the number of passenger increases in the next 20 years, and 3) to find out the area of assenger terminals needed in the next 20 years. This study used quantitative descriptive research method. The data source used is secondary data obtained directly from the relevant party Komodo Airport. The results of this study state that: 1) airport development factors are influenced by aircraft movements and the number of passengers 2) an increase in the average number of passengers by 38.2% with a projection of passengers of 3,652,630 passengers / year and busy time passengers of 1,826 passengers / year and 3) the need for passenger terminal area in 2042 requires expansion of 1,647 m2 so that the total need for passenger terminal area which previously covered an area of 5,403 m2 becomes 7. 050 m2.
