Based on KP 428 of 2015 concerning Operational Technical Guidelines section 14301 (ADVISORY CIRCULAR PART 143-01) certification of education and training providers in the field of Aviation Traffic services says that for ADC (Aerodrome Control Tower) and Aerodrome Flight Information training, in the practice room or simulators must be equipped with weather information indicating devices that can be adjusted according to the needs of the teaching staff. The current condition of the ADC Laboratory at the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic is not yet equipped with a weather information monitoring tool in real time with the weather information obtained is still done manually. The purpose of this design is to find out how to design, operate, visualize the design of a weather monitoring system using MySQL and Graphana Data Visualization.
This design uses a web scraping method with python programming, by storing data into a MySQL database and visualizing Grafana data using weather data input simulations automatically and manually, the way the tool works is to retrieve data from the BMKG website then the result of this design is the data will be updated 1 seconds on a MySQL database and 5 seconds on a Grafana view. The result of this design is that when BMKG data is automatically connected to the application, the application will convert data from BMKG into a visualization that is displayed in the form of time in UTC, wind direction, wind speed, visibility, cloud state, temperature in Celsius units, dew point, air pressure.
