Abstract

One of the Instrument Landing System flight landing aids courses is the Marker Beacon which provides a guidance signal for the aircraft's distance to the nearest Threshold. The absence of learning media based on microcontroller Marker Beacon equipment at the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic campus. The purpose of this research is as a learning material for readers to understand the working principles of marker beacons through this design.The design method uses PIR sensor hardware, TX/RX RF 433 Mhz module, and Arduino Uno Microcontroller. Some of the supporting components include the HC-SR505 PIR sensor as an object motion detector, the TX/RX RF 433 Mhz module as the ident sender and receiver and the Arduino Uno microcontroller.The results obtained from the research are the designs made by the author using TX RF 433 Mhz to detect the motion of aircraft objects that will emit Morse identificationand will be received by the RX RF 433 Mhz module which will be monitored with a buzzer with three conditions, namely IM, MM, and OM.
