The design of the safetywire tool at the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic in the Aircraft Hardware course still uses simple practical equipment with workpieces that require a benchvise as a clamp, so that it can only make one type of safetying. This condition can be overcome by providing supporting tools for practical work that are able to carry out safetying practices with the aim of having three types of safetying methods in one tool. The purpose of this study is to produce supporting practical work for the Aircraft Hardware course with three types of safetying, namely lockingwire on the safetywire, cotter pin, and turnbuckle, and there is a wheel lock so that when the tool is used it does not move and a manual lock to adjust the height of the safetying tool. This study uses the Research and Development method, namely research and development. The design testing instrument uses the tool test method. The results of this study are that the design requires tool testing and expert testing with the results of 53.3% stating Strongly Agree, and 46.67% stating Agree regarding the suitability and effectiveness of this safetying tool.
