There is an increase in temperature in the terminal building. Physical condition checks and control installations on the Air Handling Unit (AHU) were carried out. It was found that the AHU condition was off due to a power outage from PLN. At this time, the control system contained in the York AHU control panel does not have a system that can restart the AHU system if the power supply is cut off and reconnected. The AHU is also equipped with a control and monoitoring system that allows users to adjust the operation of the AHU according to needs. The design method used is the waterfall method. The testing technique uses the black box method to test the functionality of hardware and software and ensure that the equipment can operate properly. The result of this study is the creation of a design using NodeMCU ESP 8266 hardware, 2 Channel Relay, 5VDC Power Supply and using software consisting of the Arduino IDE application and Thinger.io website to design Internet of Things (IoT)-based Air Handling Unit (AHU) control and monitoring.
