Abstract

The design of the aircraft's oxygen system simulator is a learning tool used to familiarize students with the names of each main component and the working mechanism of the oxygen system. This design will be utilized as a learning and educational media by students of the Aircraft Maintenance Technology Diploma 3 Program at Aviation Polytechnic of Makassar. The purpose of this research is to facilitate theoretical and practical learning. The research method used for this final project is Research and Development (R&D). This method is employed to develop or validate products used in education and learning. The result of this design is the creation of a learning media in the form of an aircraft's oxygen system simulator. The testing of this simulator design was carried out by conducting functional tests on the aircraft's oxygen system simulator and administering a questionnaire to 30 students of the Aircraft Maintenance Technology Diploma 3 Program. Through this approach, it can be determined whether the aircraft's oxygen system simulator can help improve students' understanding of the aircraft's oxygen system operation.
