Modifikasi Spesial Tools Removal Ball Bearing In Accessory Gearbox Engine PT6A

Abstract

Modification of ball bearing removal on the PT6A accessory gearbox engine is a tool for removing lock ball bearings with the guidance of the Aircraft Maintenance Manual. In Workshop A "Engine Workshop" Makassar Aviation Polytechnic does not yet have practicum support tools, namely the removal of PT6A Turboprop engine ball bearings in accordance with practicum standards and the Aircraft Maintenance Manual. Based on these problems during the practicum process, the authors plan to design innovations for removing ball bearings in the PT6A engine gearbox accessories and cadets can see the contents of the gearbox accessories section. Research and development produces a tool to remove ball bearings on gearbox accessories on PT6A engines. With the design of this Ball Bearing Removal Tool, cadets can find out how to operate the tool, to support the practical learning of checking Gas Turbine Engines. In its use in practicum activities in workshops and hangars at the Makassar Aviation Polytechnic, it is important to pay attention to maintenance procedures.
